The Short Version
Sun Remarketing earns money through affiliate links. When you click a product link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. This is how we fund our operations and keep our content free.
Our recommendations are never influenced by commission rates. We recommend what we believe is best for you based on real testing and research.
How Affiliate Links Work
Throughout our site, you'll find links to products on Amazon and other retailers. These are "affiliate links" — when you click one, a small tracking cookie is placed in your browser. If you make a purchase within a set timeframe (24 hours for Amazon), we earn a percentage of the sale.
The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our affiliate link or go directly to the retailer. The commission comes out of the retailer's marketing budget, not your pocket.
Which Programs We Participate In
Sun Remarketing is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
We also participate in affiliate programs with B&H Photo, Best Buy, Newegg, UGREEN, and other retailers and direct manufacturer programs. Each program has its own commission structure, but this never influences which products we recommend or how we rank them.
Our Editorial Independence
Affiliate commissions never influence our editorial decisions. Specifically:
We will never recommend a product just because it has a higher commission rate. We will never rank a product higher because of financial incentives. We will never accept payment from a company to feature or review their product. We will always disclose when content contains affiliate links.
If we believe a product isn't worth buying, we'll say so — even if that means we earn nothing from the article.
How to Identify Affiliate Links
Every page that contains affiliate links includes a disclosure notice at the top. Product links that lead to retailers (like "B&H Photo", "Amazon", "Best Buy" buttons) are affiliate links. We show you the best price from each retailer so you can choose where to buy. Internal links to other Sun Remarketing articles are not affiliate links.
